Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Family Shield VPN ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service is provided by Gosenville. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Account
You may use Family Shield anonymously (signed in via Apple's anonymous auth) or link an Apple ID. You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. Family admins are responsible for the settings they apply to family members' devices.
Acceptable use
- Use the Service for lawful personal or family use only.
- Do not use it to attack networks, send spam, distribute malware, or violate third-party rights.
- Do not circumvent device limits or attempt to share a single subscription across unrelated households.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.
Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are billed by Apple via the App Store. Pricing is shown in-app before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel any time in your App Store settings. Refunds are processed by Apple — we'll always advocate on your behalf if you contact us.
Free trial
Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You can cancel during the trial with no charge. One trial per Apple ID.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no specific guarantee. Server availability may vary by region. We may add, remove, or modify servers and features.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gosenville is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
